Una nueva muestra de que no es necesario ser de los más grandes, o estar en Primera, para poder contar la historia en un gran libro. Las ediciones anteriores del “candombero” son complementadas en esta obra que recopila la historia del club desde su inicio amateur hasta 1969: la fundación del club, los colores y la cancha, participación en diversas ligas, la afiliación en AFA, actuaciones en el ascenso, el ingreso en la era profesional, sus campañas en la 1ª B, etc (con síntesis completas). Contiene bastante material inédito como por ejemplo muchas síntesis de la época amateur y ¡las tablas de posiciones de las divisiones inferiores! 1917/31 y 1943/69. Además notas sociales, el desarrollo de la institución, las Comisiones Directivas, notas sobre los grandes jugadores, “caritas” y perfiles, anecdotario, curiosidades y la “papelera de reciclaje” (básicamente fotocopias de notas de diarios). Gran cantidad de fotos blanco y negro.

This is a new sample that it is not necessary to be one of the most important teams, or to be in Primera (First Division) to tell the story in a great book. Previous editions of the “candombero” are complemented with this work which compiles the story of this club from its amateur beginning until 1969: the foundation of the club, the colors and football field, its participation in various leagues, its affiliation to the AFA, performances in the promotion, the professional era, its campaigns in the First B, etc (with complete synthesis). This book contains many unpublished material, such as the amateur times and the position tables with lower divisions! 1917/1931 and 1943/1969. Besides, there are social interviews, the development of the institution, the Management, Committees and interviews to main players, faces and profiles, anecdotes, curiosities and the “trash box” (basically copies of interviews in newspapers).
