De todos los libros que se editaron en conmemoración del Centenario, éste es tal vez el más completo. Porque al detalle minucioso de todas las campañas futbolísticas se le agrega el quehacer de la institución, tanto en la faz social, como en los demás deportes practicados en su seno. Aunque es de imaginar cuanto se puede abarcar en una resma de tinta, no está demás un sucinto detalle: los orígenes, el Padre Massa, el primer ascenso, los grandes próceres futbolísticos, planteles y campañas año por año, las “tapas” del club, los torneos obtenidos, presidentes y dirigentes, la pérdida del Gasómetro las distintas canchas, el paso por la B, encuentros memorables y apostillas finales con curiosidades y gran cantidad de estadísticas. Como queda dicho, también un detalle bastante amplio de las diversas especialidades deportivas: atletismo, patín, pelota paleta, billar, yudo, etc. Fotos color y blanco y negro a discreción.

May be this is the most complete book of all which were edited on the occasion of the Centennial. To the extreme detail of all its football campaigns, the work of the institution is added, in the social aspect as well as on the other sports practiced in this institution. As it is imaginable, a brief summary is not in vain: the origins, Father Massa, the first time in Primera Division, great historical football players, teams and campaigns year by year, the “tapas” of the club, obtained tournaments, presidents, managers, the lost of the Gasómetro, different football fields, the performance in B Division, memorable matches, curiosities and many statistics.
