Una verdadera joya !!. Independientemente de que este libro trate de la historia de un club en particular será la delicia de cualquier investigador ya que no sólo se podrá conocer los primeros pasos del Rojo de Avellaneda, sino además una parte importante de la historia del fútbol argentino. En este primer volumen su autor se revela como un experto investigador y descubridor de aquello que “se lee entre líneas”; y además de dar a conocer la verdad sobre varios errores históricos que pretendían perpetuarse (el lugar de la fundación, la primera cancha, el resultado del primer partido, el origen de los colores) nos brinda datos que eran hasta ahora desconocidos. La cantidad de información (primeros planteles con muchos nombres completos, divisiones menores, resultados con síntesis, campañas con resultados, etc.) junto con una lectura facil y amena, dá la impresión de un relato de hechos que ocurrieron ayer y no 100 años atrás.  Para condimentar, unas cuantas fotos b/n de muy buena calidad. This book not only presents the first steps of the Club Atlético Independiente (a.k.a. “the Red of Avellaneda”), but also an important part of the history of the Argentinean football. In this first volume his author reveals himself as an expert researcher, discovering what it is “in-between lines”, and also presents the truth about several historical errors that were meant to be perpetuated (the foundation location, the first football field, the result of the first game, the origin of the colors). The book offers us unknown data. The amount of information (first teams with many complete names, lower divisions, results with synthesis, campaigns with scores, etc.) along with an easy and pleasant reading, gives us the impression of a story of facts that happened yesterday and not 100 years back.
